ClassMana Teams are here! Encourage cooperation in your class!

Teams have arrived in ClassMana! You can now organize your students into teams with custom names, see them grouped on your dashboard, and use teams in Monster Battle Adventures. Here's everything that's new.

👥 Creating & Managing Teams

Enable Teams in your class settings under Features. When you first enable it, default teams are automatically created and students are evenly distributed — so you're ready to go right away.
From the new Teams tab in your class settings, you can:
  • Add teams with custom names
  • Edit or delete teams anytime (students from deleted teams become unassigned)
  • Drag-and-drop students between teams, swap two students, or drag them to "Unassigned"

📊 Dashboard Grouping

When teams are enabled, your class dashboard automatically groups students by team. Each team has a header with the team name and a team-level checkbox to select or deselect all team members at once — perfect for giving rewards to an entire team in one click!

⚔️ Monster Battle — Team & Class Picks

This is where it gets really exciting! Instead of only picking individual students to answer questions, you can now also pick entire teams or the whole class.
In the battle setup screen, toggle which pick types are active under "Randomly pick from":
  • Student — a random individual is picked (original behavior)
  • Team — a random team answers together, reward is split equally among team members
  • Whole Class — everyone answers together, reward is split equally among all students
Enable all three for maximum unpredictability — students never know if they'll be called on alone, with their team, or as the whole class!

🎯 Powers — Team Targeting

With teams enabled, powers gain a new target setting. Instead of only affecting the caster, a power can now target:
  • Self — only the caster (default)
  • Anyone in the team — the caster picks any teammate
  • Other person on the team — targets a teammate, not the caster
  • All team members — the whole team, including the caster
  • All other team members — the whole team, except the caster
There's also a new usage reward field — an experience bonus for the caster, separate from the power's target effects. For example, a "Heal Teammate" power could restore health to a teammate while giving the caster experience for helping out!
